About "The Quilters' Net"

The art and craft of quilting has a long history and has enjoyed tremendous growth within the past 50 years. One has only to go to a National Quilt Convention to realize today’s quilting includes traditional quilts, amazing fibre art, and everything in between. My recent journey to Quilt Canada 2008 in St Johns NL certainly reinforced my belief that quilting is alive, well, and constantly evolving.

Quilters have evolved as well, and many are as comfortable with their laptops as with their, often computerized, sewing machines. We come from all walks of life, all age groups, and live all over the globe. Some of us belong to Quilting Groups or Guilds, and some find the creative process works better in a quiet studio setting. Collectively we share a passion for textiles and all things finely handmade.

The Quilters’ Net offers Canadian quilters an internet market to showcase and sell their products. We invite you to join The Quilters Net as a shop member or as a studio artist.

We anticipate all visitors will experience a visual treat and we have provided a shopping basket for your convenience. Our products are all handcrafted by individual quilters and, when purchased, will be mailed directly to you.

We do hope you enjoy our Internet Quilt Market. Please leave us a comment before you leave, tell your friends about us, and come back soon.
